  1. The wild animal I have studied is a snake called a boa constrictor.
They like to live where it is hot and wet so their large bodies stay warm.
They make homes in caves or trees.
They like to eat meat like, monkeys, deer, pigs, goats and chickens.
People like to make shoes and clothes from the snake skin.
They are from the Python family of snakes and they squeeze their victims to death, then swallow them whole. It may only have to eat 4 or 5 times a year. Take a look here - http://www.nationalgeographic.com/animals/reptiles/b/boa-constrictor/
